I've just changed my skin's colour today. I think i'm gonna stick with this skin cos it took me quite a while to mix 'n' match until i came with the perfect colours. I really think it looks kinda sweet and nice. I hope you all like it!

Anyway, my dad returned home from the hospital today, Yay!!! Welcome home Dad! He was there for 10 miserable days but he's home now and healthier as ever before. Great for him and i wish he doesn't have to go back there ever again!

Yeah!! my cousin, Tracy, is gonna have her b'day party by her house tomorrow. I'll be looking forward to her b'day party and meet her sister, Tiffany! But her actual b'day is supposed to be on the 12th of July... «Happy Advanced B'day» to her anyway!

Well.. i actually enjoyed my sleep today and woke up quite late in the morning hehe.. I'm feeling kinda lazy today so i think i'm gonna stop here. That's all folks! hehe... Have a nice day!

Ciao~

- Hurt No More

I woke up at around 10.30am today despite that i only slept at 3+am!  The main reason why i slept late was b'cos i was watching TV together with my sister hehe.. i watched 'So Close' on AXN until around 12am. It was a really great movie... cool special effects!  After that, my bro, sis and I watched 'Crime Night' on Discovery Channel about a very exciting case about murder and forgery. Then at around 2am my bro had already dosed off so my sis and I watched MADE on MTV about a guy who tried so hard to do something that he never thought he would do, 'dancing' as in something like a cheerleader! Finally, i slept at 3+am after watching that show! Anyway,I tried to get back to sleep but can't cos my siblings were making soo much noise while playing the Gamecube! Y can't they just play quietly? Ohh.. well....

Later at noon, i cooked chicken fried rice for me and siblings for lunch. Just a fast and simple dish! My siblings ate in front of the TV while playing with the Gamecube. As for me, i was a good girl(As If haha...) eating at the dining table hehe.. Then, we ate Ice Cream.. Mmm.. Yummy!! I lurveee 'em. While i was enjoying my ice cream, I watched my younger brothers play the '007 James Bond shooting game' and they were super good at it unlike me, i tried playing it the other day and i really suck at it  Who cares anyway.. i'm not a game freak like them haha..

I tried to study but felt really lazy to do so.. as usual haha... I haven't even started doing any of my school work.. well.. maybe a little only hehe.. and there's only one more day left till school reopens!!! Time really flies... Arrrgggghhh...!! Okay, i'm freaking out now.. i think i better do something useful right now or else i'm dead meat as soon as school reopens!!

Ciao~

SUNDAY, 13th of June

Hey there.. i just came back from the KBFSC (Kuala Belalong Field Studies Centre) Temburong trip today at around noon time. After that, my mom brought me to join my uncle & his family, youngest bro and jances for dim sum at Lucky Rest. But by the time i reached there, they had already finished eating and i was left with the leftovers  Anyway, I dont mind it at all though, cos i just simply like to eat dim sum a lot . Later on, we(except my mom) went to the cineplex to watch 'The Day After Tomorrow'. It was the 2.30pm show. The movie was quite good but it was quite short in a way! Okay.. let me just write about my trip to temburong here aightz...

I stayed there from the 10th to 13th of June for 4 days and 3 nights. It was a really fascinating and exhilarating trip and if i ever have the chance, i would love to join again!

Day 1, 10th June

We set off the bandar wraft at about 2 o'clock in the afternoon and enjoyed the boat ride on the way to bangar wraft (even though it was quite bumpy) which took for about 45 minutes if i'm not mistaken. As soon as we reached there, we got off the speed boat and carried our bags into a medium sized bus. We had to squeeze ourselves and our bags into the bus because the bus was quite small and there were about a total of 27 people in the bus including the bus driver and teachers!

Then, we were taken to a place near a small river where we off loaded our bags down to the temuai(a small long boat which can hold only 6 passengers). While we were waiting for the other temuais to arrive, we took some pictures along a small nearby bridge which runs across the river. The boat ride took about approximately 1 hour or less. It was really exciting to be able to travel along the rapids of the temburong river but unfortunately, when we were almost there, it rained heavily and so suddenly!! We were all soaking wet except for those who had their raincoats on! Finally, we reached there at about 5+pm and settled down in our rooms. Each room consists of two bunk beds. I shared a room with Azanita, Zuliza and Hanisah. Obviously, all of us had to take turns to shower cos there were only two showers on each floor. After that, we had our dinner at about 7pm in the dining hall.

After dinner, we attended a briefing at 8pm in the centre's laboratory. There were slide shows about some of the things in temburong. After the briefing, we went back to our building called 'Lesung' and tried to get used to the new environment. The generators were off at around 11+pm and all of us went to bed.

Day 2, 11th June

Unfortunately, we didn't sleep well during our 1st night there maybe because we weren't used to the new environment yet. My roommates and i kept on waking up in the middle of the night. We heard an unusual sound which sounds like a dog barking and wondered what it was because we thought it was just outside our rooms. At about 4.30pm, some of the other students were already awake and we asked one another what the unsual sound was. Our teacher told us that it was the sound of the geckos(big-sized lizards) living in the jungle. Some of us showered with cold running water in the dark and couldn't be bothered to wait till the generators turned on to heat up the water heaters!

By 7am, we headed to the dining hall to have our breakfast. Then, at about 8.30am, we got ready and wore our life jackets, waited by the river and travelled on the temuai in order to reach the Ulu Temburong National Park. We signed the guest book there and had a tour around the place. From there, our guides showed us the Cauliflory and Ramiflory trees and also some gigantic keladi plants! We took loads of group photos in front of the Ulu Temburong National Park sign and then headed to an air-conditioned building where we were given a briefing on a veriety of models about the canopy and rainforest.

After that, we travelled on the temuai again to the other side in order to climb up the steps through the jungle to reach the canopy walkway. We were supposed to cross the bridge but it wasn't safe as it broke last year so we used the temuai instead. Then, after climbing up 1,226 steps which seems like forever haha.. i let out a sight of relief and said 'Finally'!! haha.. We waited for our turn to climb up the canopy steps because only a maximum of 4 persons are allowed to climb up at a time. While waiting, we rested and tried to cool ourselves down. Teacher Malai Zeiti, Teacher Rahimah, Tuti and I went up the canopy walkway together.  We took loads of pictures while we were up there. Anyway, Tuti and I were supposed to go up the highest point of the canopy but she didnt want to, so i went up alone. Then, Teacher Malai Zeiti joined me and we took tons of pictures when the both of us were up there. The scenery was soo amazing and there was this feeling of freedom and independence when i was up there. The both of us enjoyed ourselves a lot and we didnt want to get down at 1st. I think the both of us spent about half an hour up there hehe..  then we finally decided to get down.

As soon as everyone finished climbing the canopy walkway, our guides asked us if we wanted to use the jungle trail or the same way back down to the river. All of us voted to use the jungle trail down! Unfortunately, before going down the trail, my little finger got stung by a bee...  it was really painful so the UBD lecturer, Hjh Masnah, gave me some antiseptic medication to apply on my finger! Then, turn by turn, we followed the trail down. It was sort of slippery and muddy because of the rainy season. Luckily, i was wearing a sports shoe with a really good grip so i didn't slip during the trail down After we finished climbing down the trail, we waited for the temuais to transport us back to the centre. That was about 11.30am in the morning.

When we reached the centre, some of us showered our sweaty and sticky bodies after the long, tiring trail. I think by 12.30pm, we had our lunch. During Lunch, we were informed that our practical investigation on the river ecosystem was cancelled because of the high water level of Sungai Belalong. Since it was cancelled, some of us went to the nearby river to swim and have fun while others decided to take a nice, cool, refreshing shower!  The running water was soo cold but clear! There were also a few small fishes swimming in it if you look closely into the water.

By 3pm(if i'm not mistaken), we were reported to go the laboratory to work on the presentation that we had to present the next day. We were separated into 4 groups and i was in the same group as Jerry, Rohirda, Nawwarah and Adyani. Every group were told to draw what we saw during our hike at the canopy walkway and also to draw an imaginary insect that lives in the rainforest, describing how it's features adapt to the environment!

As usual, we had dinner at 7pm. After dinner, we continued our work on the presentation. Then, at about 9pm, some of us chatted at the living hall on the 1st floor of the 'Lesung'(the building where we stayed). Before the generators were off, we went to bed.

Day 3, 12th June

Ahh... good morning!! Everyone slept comfortably on this day and didn't feel like waking up. Well.. mainly because all of us were too tired after the canopy walkway on day 2. I woke up at around 6.30am which was the latest among the other nights haha.. By 7am, everyone headed to the dining room to have breakfast. At 8am, we had a briefing on the morning's activity. It was about the practical investigation- stream and valley ecosystem. We separated into groups again but this time, instead of Nawwarah being in our group, she switched places with Zulhilmi. At around 8.30am, we walked along a path in order to do our investigation on part of the Sungai Mata Ikan. At around 11am, we finished our investigation and headed back to the centre. We washed all the equipments that we used and then tried to do our work on the investigation.

Then, we had our lunch at 12 noon. At 1.30pm, we had a leisure boat trip to the Wasai(waterfall). It took quite a while to reach there since the water currents were kinda strong. Before we reached the waterfall, we had to walk along a small, shallow stream which was very slippery and then climb up a really slippery rocky cliff! Finally, the waterfall could be seen! Most of us had fun swimming in the pool of water under the waterfall while some of us just stood nearby enjoying the scenery and taking pictures.

After the waterfall, most of us floated in the river to return to the centre while some used the temuai. It was about 4.30pm when we arrived at the centre. After showering, we were called to go to the dining hall to have some afternoon tea and snacks at around 5pm. After that, some of us continued our unfinished work.

At 7pm, we had our dinner as usual. After dinner, we continued our unfinished work again. We were supposed to present our work on the day's activities at 8pm but it was delayed until 9pm because most of us were not finished with our work yet! The presentation took about 2 hours to end. Jerry was the one who presented our work in the group. There was so much laughter and excitement during all the presentations. We were the last group to present among all the 4 groups. Then, after we presented our work, it was the teacher's turn to present! Teacher Azrul presented their wonderful work which was a painting of an imaginary butterfly, larva and pupa on a gigantic keladi tree. NICee... hehe.. Everyone did a great job and it was a blast!! Reluctantly, Hanisah's team won the best imaginary insect among the rest! Congrats to Hanisah's team(Hanisah, Amalina, Zuliza, Azanita, Tuti and Adib)

As soon as the presentation was over, we tried to fulfill our last night there. We chatted, played cards, told jokes, listened to music and tried to stay awake as long as possible!! The generators went off at about 12.30am but most of us were still awake with torch lights in our hands. I played cards('speed', well.. more like slow speed cos i really suck in it.. haha..) with Rohirda for a little while before i went to bed at around 1.30am! Well.. i was one of the people who slept quite early because the others who were chatting in the living hall, slept much later than i did! too bad for me... haha... I slept like.. almost immediately!!(very unusual) .. haha.. i guess maybe i was too tired!

Day 4, 13th June

Everyone woke up at about 6+am and showered. Some of us packed our bags and cleared our rooms while waiting for the showers! Then, we had our breakfast at 7am. After breakfast, we carried our bags down at the side of the river. Then, all of us took group photos with our cameras at the main entrance of the centre! Everyone bid farewell and we departed from the KBSF Centre at about 9.30am. We then departed Pekan Bangar at around 11am. Lastly, we arrived at Bandar Seri Begawan wraft at about 12 noon! I bid farewell and thanked the teachers before going back to 'home sweet home'!

This has been a very memorable trip for me and i will cherished each and every moment that i've spent there with all who joined this trip. It was a total blast!! Yeah~ I would like to thank my parents for allowing me to join this trip!  muahs*
